The second half of summer 2011

Matching gliders for the boys

August started out with music classes for the boys

even Beckett joined in!
Carter had his first introduction to the piano through group lessons

Easton kayaking with daddy at Bloedel Donovan

At the kid's festival, there was food, fun, and entertainment.

Getting our feet wet on one of the first "hot" days of summer, at last!

aaawwwww, little toesies!

A day out in Sudden Valley

Entertaining Beckett during sunday service.  The best way to keep him content (and quiet) is with snacks!
More track.  Week after week, the boys became more and more competitive, wanting only to win the blue ribbons!

Dining at our new "patio cafe"

with Chef Beckett??

And of course, many many hours were spent on our deck

I went to put Beckett down for a nap.  The boys had decided to do some face painting while I was gone.  Luckily, these were the washable markers

Jason and I have been exercising regularly together after the kids go to bed.  The newest videos we got nearly killed us.  This is after our first "INSANITY" workout.  The name says it all.

BBQ with friends

Thanks Danielle for this cute photo!

Our new sprinkler is so cool!  Balls are shot out the middle

and if everything is perfectly aligned, the ball will stay up while the water is shot straight up!

At some point in time, the boys decided to move all their bedding and slept on the floor.

Four teeths for Beckett!

Becks is usually smiling, but I guess I left him in the high chair too long this time

I woke up to two very sad and concerned boys.  Carter said "mommy, I'm missing an arm".  Easton "yeah me too mommy"

A playdate at Grace's house.  It was our first time seeing obvious boys vs girls play.

The boys attended gymnastics camp once a week.  The best part was that they got to be together, in the same class (which made drop-off sooooo much easier for me!!)

Becks is sooo anxious to get moving!

"Want some mommy?"

Horseracing!!  Yep, the boys actually raced across the rec room on these.

And the winners are.....

Playing at Zuanich Point

Jason trying to take a pic of the three of us.....

still trying...........

He gave up and had me take the pic

This deer was just relaxing on our front lawn

BFFs in Bham for Bday Bash!!

Pretty good pic for being in our thirties!

Uncle James is practicing :)

Becks meets Bacon

funny or freaky #2?

Enjoying our last day of summer break together.
